Your first game, in four steps

Start with a 10-minute phase if this is your first time — a full game takes about an hour.

  1. Pick a country

    Seven to choose from. They do not start in the same place, and they are not equally difficult.

  2. Give orders

    Click a province: attack, hold, support, or do nothing at all.

  3. Talk to people

    Send a message, make an offer. You will not get support without giving something back.

  4. Hold the map

    Supply centres decide the winner at the end of the year. Eighteen is the usual target.
